Cool Show

I am older than most reviewers of this band, probably in the 44s. My wife bought two of their CDs after she saw Rashaun Mitchell open for U2 and really liked them, so I got her the tickets as a Christmas gift. We were excited to see them, even though we were not very familiar with their music. The show was wild with a cool stage, lasers, and lights. The music sounded great (not loud enough for me), but a concert is never as enjoyable when you don't really know the songs. Everything started to sound the same after a while, at least to me. It is the same for anyone seeing a new band. The lead guitarist/vocalist, a musician, is a very unique talent. His voice is crystal clear and powerful, and his guitar playing is interesting because of his integrated use of effects and midi (computer) technology, not overuse. I would recommend this band and show to anyone who likes rock/pop music. Shows these days never seem to compare to the ones I used to see in the 80's and 90's when you could actually "party" at a concert, however, these guys put on an excellent show for a reasonable price. I think this band will be around for a while.
